This is probably the worst piece of hardware I have ever purchased in my life.
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Nothing seems to function properly. Most of time I cant even turn it off. Its offline all the time. Ive given up trying to air print. Try to get wireless connection is hipeless. Tried a cable connection but still malfunctioning. The photo sofware they sell with it that you have to download is obselete and unavailable but yet they're still advertising it. I'm litterally pulling my hair out and can't believe I had a better printer back in 1998. I'm going to do a full diagnostic one more time and if this fails its going back. I need a printer for my return to work on th 4th and this has really let me down.

@Seanw100, Welcome to HP Support Community!

May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

To be able to assist you better, I would like to know the following:

  • Are the printer and PC connected to the same network?
  • Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz?
  • What is the distance between the router and the printer?
  • Is there any antivirus software installed on your computer?
  • What is the Operating System installed on the computer? I see you've mentioned Windows, but you also spoke of AirPrint.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
