6 Month Instant Ink trial given, only see 2 months at registration

Hi, I purchased my printer and received a leaflet saying I have 6 months of trial Instant Ink; however, when I registered, only 2 months were given to me. How do I redeem the full 6 months as promised? Thank you.

Instant Ink Trial 

Look on the box - read the details - does it say (something similar to) "6 months with HP+"?

If yes, then you have to opt (choose / sign up) for HP+ service to be eligible for the extended 6 month Instant Ink offer.

What?

HP+ is NOT Instant Ink - the two are related in the sense that the Instant Ink Trial period is extended when you opt (choose) HP+ service.

This is one of those instances where the details matter.

There are limitations, benefits, responsibilities when you choose HP+ service.

For example, at this writing, HP+:

• HP+ includes an extended (longer) Warranty on your printer
• Requires that you always use HP genuine ink cartridges in the printer - Again, this is not "Instant Ink" - the requirement is that you use HP branded ink
• The printer must be connected to the Internet to allow monitoring by the HP+ Service
• HP+ service includes Concierge Service - with extra setup help and assistance
