Hi All, 

Can you please advise. I am about to buy a new printer with 6 months instant ink. Will the inks be delivered with the printer or I need to buy them separately for the first time?🙈🫣

Welcome to the HP Community --

 

New, sealed-in-Box printers from HP come with Setup Ink.

 

The ink can be used and activated and made to work with the Instant Ink subscription service (trials and plans).

 

Setup cartridges are not large -- if you run out of ink before you subscribe, you will have to purchase and install HP ink so you can print out the necessary code form.

 

Things to know so  you don't get caught unaware --

 

 

1  The contract -- even the trial -- includes ink all replacements as needed.

This is NOT ink delivered on a schedule --

Your printer must be connected to the Internet for the service --

When the printer notifies the service that ink is needed, it will be sent out.

 

All subscription ink cartridges, including any ink cartridges activated and made part of the service, become and remain the property of HP

 

Subscription inks, including any ink cartridges activated and made part of the service, work only with an active contract and service plan.

 

What?

 

If you cancel, including during the Trial period, subscription inks, including any ink cartridges activated and made part of the service, will stop after the service is fully cancelled.  This is generally at, or soon after, the final billing period.
