Common problems for INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Instant Ink. Check out this link: HP INSTANT INK, HP+ PLANS: INK AND TONER. .

A neighbor gave me their HP 2755e all in one saying it worked for 6 months then stopped. I can see where it needs to be enrolled in instant ink, but I can’t even connect to the network. The app and my computer see it but can’t connect. I do have 5G internet if that matters. If I try to enroll in Insta  ink or whatever that is, it says I need to connect first!  Stuck in an endless circle. There is ink in it bc it will print the set up pages.

I’ve reset through various methods and still nothing.  Thoughts on troubleshooting?

Hi @Ctd-23,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that you are facing connectivity issues. I’d like to help!

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Make sure, your printer and your device are on the same network as 2.4GHZ only.

Let's Perform a power reset on the printer.

  1. Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  5. Wait at least 60 seconds.
  6. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet
  7. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  8. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
  9. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
