Hi, I've just bought my hp envy 6234 and it is supposed to come with a 7 month free trial of instant ink.

I set it up on Sunday night and registered for instant ink. There was a place to put a promo code or pre paid code but I didn't have anything with a code on. I looked through all the documents and on the printer. 

The printer box states the free trial as does a big sticker on the printer and also the booklet about instant ink that came with it.

I assumed as I didn't have a code that it would just register itself, but I googled first and when I looked on here I saw a post with the same problem and the reply was that it should register itself. 

Well as far as I can see, it hasn't!.I am apparently being sent a welcome pack and then I will be billed after that! 

I spent three hours trying to figure it out and to be quite honest it made me feel ill in the end!

I looked for a customer support email address but all I can find is a phone number.

I cannot try to sort anything out on the phone as I have an autistic child who needs my attention and when I am on the phone she gets distressed and I cannot hear or concentrate. 

I need to sort this out ASAP as it says I have to do it within 7 days of registering! 

Please help me!

Once enrolled, the free months will automatically be credited to your Instant Ink account.

If not, please send me a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
