If your HP 7855 printer is not printing and each test page comes out completely blank despite performing alignment and cleaning procedures, here’s a detailed guide you can follow to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

  1. Check Ink Levels:
  2. Ensure that the ink cartridges are not empty or near empty. You can check the ink levels on the printer control panel.

  3. Ensure Proper Cartridge Venting:

  4. Inspect the small vent on each cartridge to ensure it’s not clogged. Gently clean any obstructions with a pin if necessary.

  5. Reseat the Ink Cartridges:

  6. Open the ink cartridge access door and carefully reseat each cartridge, ensuring proper contact with the printer.

  7. Update Printer Firmware:

  8. Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer model. Updated firmware can often resolve known issues.

  9. Perform a Hard Reset:

  10. Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in and power it on.

  11. Print Quality Diagnostic Report:

  12. Try printing a Print Quality Diagnostic Report. This can help identify if the issue is with the printhead or another component.

  13. Inspect for Hardware Blockages or Issues:

  14. Ensure there are no obstructions in the paper path or within the printer that could impact printing.

  15. Review Printer Settings:

  16. Verify that the printer settings are correct and not set to print a blank page. Ensure the "Print in Grayscale" option is disabled if color is desired.

  17. Check for Error Messages:

  18. Review the printer control panel for any error messages or warnings that might provide more information about the issue.

I hope this helps!

Take care and have an amazing day!
