Hi @Rv38,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble registering with HP Instant Ink. To help you with the registration process, please follow these steps.
Check Eligibility: Ensure that your HP printer is eligible for HP Instant Ink. Not all HP printers are compatible with this service, so make sure your model is supported.
Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. HP Instant Ink relies on an internet connection to communicate with your printer.
HP Account: If you don't already have an HP account, create one. You'll need this to register for Instant Ink.
Visit the Instant Ink Website: Go to the HP Instant Ink website (https://instantink.hpconnected.com/).
Sign In: Log in to your HP account.
Add Your Printer:
- Click on "Enroll a printer."
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add your printer to your account. This may involve entering your printer's serial number or allowing it to automatically connect if it's on the same network as your computer.
Choose a Plan: After adding your printer, you'll be prompted to choose an Instant Ink plan. Select the plan that best fits your printing needs.
Payment Information: You'll need to provide payment information even if you're signing up for a free plan. This is in case you exceed the page limit of your chosen plan.
Review and Confirm: Review your plan selection and payment information. Make sure everything is correct, then confirm your enrollment.
Install Instant Ink Cartridges: If you're enrolling a new printer, you'll receive Instant Ink cartridges in the mail. Install these cartridges in your printer when they arrive.
Set Up Your Printer: Follow any on-screen instructions that may appear on your printer's display to complete the setup.
Printing: Your printer is now enrolled in HP Instant Ink. It will automatically communicate with HP to monitor your ink levels, and new ink cartridges will be sent to you as needed based on your plan.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
