I switched to my own cartridges from Instant Ink back in Feb. This is on a 6970. I bought £48 of cartridges (from HP) and it's lasted 6 months (so would have been only £18 on Instant Ink even after the price hike). And I haven't changed my printing habits. Maybe did up to 6 x 30 page GCSE papers in that time but they were mostly black & white and it's the red & yellow that have run out. Seems like it's run out fast but I wondered if it's possible to check my printer history, can't see an obvious way to do that.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you want to know the printed page count, I am glad to assist you.
You can print a status report and check the total pages printed.
Here are the steps:-
- Load plain white paper in the input tray.
- From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe down to open the Dashboard, and then touch the Setup icon
.
- Swipe up on the display, and then touch Reports.
- Swipe up on the display, and then touch Printer Status Report.
