How can I keep HP from automatically sending printed update notices THROUGH MY DESKJET2622 PRINTER? I'm on the free 15 pages per month plan, but my printer periodically (and unbidden) spits out a printed piece of paper announcing that an update has completed. But those totally unnecessary printed notices are counting toward my 15 pages per month, and I don't care whether or not my printer has updated. I looked on the website to see if I could change the settings but found no place where I could do this. i don't want to disable the printer's ability to update online; I just don't want it to print out a paper notice stating that it did so.

@ramjetwooten, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

How often does the printer print the update notice page?

Ideally, the updates should happen once in a while and not every month.

The only option is to turn off web services. However, Instant ink will get affected if the Web services are turned off.

If you have a HP Connected account, log in and check the settings. Refer to this document for more info.

Let me know how this goes.
