I print very infrequently. After not using the printer for a number of months, print quality is poor and black is not printing at all although the cartridges have plenty of ink. Last time this happened (in June 2021) I had to print multiple diagnostic pages to get the ink flowing again, causing me to go over my page limits.

 

Before I print 25+ pages today to try to resolve this problem, is there any other solution? Can I be credited for the diagnostic pages?

Hi Betty -

I've tried all the solutions offered in the link you sent. Unfortunately, I do not have another set of inks. It's been at least 3 months (maybe 4) since I used the printer. When I print a quality report, the colors seem to print, but black is not printing at all. I tried again today to print 2 reports with the same results.

 

Can I be sent another set of inks? I'm willing to keep trying to print quality reports to see if this will get the ink flowing, but I don't want to be charged for the prints since I have a free account and normally never go over 15/mo. Because of a new work contract, I anticipate that I will be needing the printer much more frequently and am anxious to get it working!
