@Vipormax_6, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing a blue screen error (UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME) on your HP laptop. This issue typically indicates a problem with the system drive or boot configuration. Since you're unable to log in and system restore points are unavailable, here are some steps to help you recover your system:
Step 1: Boot into Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE)
- Turn off your laptop.
- Press the power button to turn it on, and as soon as the HP logo appears, press and hold the power button again to force shutdown.
- Repeat this 2-3 times until you see "Preparing Automatic Repair" or the Windows Recovery screen.
Step 2: Run Automatic Repair
- In the Choose an option screen, select:
- Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Repair
- Let Windows attempt to fix the issue. If it fails, proceed to the next step.
Step 3: Use Command Prompt to Repair Boot Volume
Go to:
- Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Command Prompt
In the Command Prompt window, type the following commands one by one and press Enter after each:
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /scanos
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /rebuildbcd
chkdsk C: /f /r
The chkdsk command may take some time. Let it complete fully.
Step 4: If All Else Fails – Use HP Recovery
If the above steps don’t work, you can try restoring your system using HP Recovery:
- Restart your laptop and press F11 repeatedly at startup.
- Select Troubleshoot > Recovery Manager.
- Choose System Recovery (this may reset your PC, so back up data if possible).
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
