I have bought a 2nd hand printer and I want to use Instant Ink.  I tried logging in and registering and it failed. The point where is failed was where I press the print connect button and it was meant to print a code but it didn't.

I see that you are trying to enroll the printer in Instant Ink. Do you know if the printer was enrolled before?

If yes, it should be removed from the previous account.

Are you using Instant Ink cartridges in the printer? It may not work. Hence, the claim code did not print.

Try making a standalone copy from the flatbed glass and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Make sure the printer is connected to the internet.

 

Restart web services

Click here to know how to turn off web services. Refer to this document to know how to turn it on.

 

As this printer has a display screen, you may see the claim code on the screen and need not print it.
