Bought instat ink starter from currys. It says there is a code for £10 off. No pin code in the box and nowhere to enter it in the app even if I had it. Is this a scam? Have I lost my £10?

there isn't a code - that's the problem. it's an hp instant ink subscription starter kit with black and colour cartridges. There wasa leaflet inside in all different languages but they are all just warnings about chemicals. there was no code or instructions. I put them in the machine and my partner had to log onto the app because the printer is in his name. We logged on together and followed the instructions we were given online about setting up a subscription. The only pin it asked for was the pin inside the printer. It all worked and the printer prints but there was no mention of the £10 starter credit. Currys couldn't help and when I try to ask HP on the chat I just get automated replies.
