Can I get Instant Ink on new printer without wait time

I am looking to replace my HP Deskjet 2710e with the same model as the paper feed is stuck/broken.

It says in order to register a new printer with Instant Ink cartridge it takes 7 -10 days. I cannot wait that 

long as I have a busy home office. 

Is there anyway that I can pre order the instant ink before I buy the printer or can I still use the older printer while waiting for the Instant Ink for the new printer to come.

If your printer is physically broken, then no -- you cannot use that device.

I'm not aware that you can purchase a subscription for hardware you do not have.

The Instant Ink subscription -- whether such will be moved from an existing account or whether the subscription is new -- is tied to the physical printer. 

This just means you must have an eligible printer in your possession to subscribe to the service.

Depending on your situation, you might purchase your new printer and purchase enough ink supplies to use while you wait for the account to be moved and the ink kit to arrive for the new printer.

True, the point of having a subscription is to not purchase your own ink.

It might be faster that you contact Instant Ink Support directly.
