My printer is on line via WiFi but when printing I use the USB cable version.  Can I subscribe to Instant Ink if my printer is using a USB Cable?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

The printer has to be connected to a wireless network. You may use the USB cable between the printer and the PC to print.

However, if the printer loses connection with the wireless router, you may not be able to print.

 

Kindly refer to this document to know how to enroll the printer in Instant Ink.
