My HP 3830 is dead and out of warranty. I plan to recycle it. It has a small instant ink account with some unused pages.. My question: can I transfer those unused pages to another instant ink printer on the same account that is still working ?

Hi @JustHelpNo,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
No, you cannot transfer Instant Ink rollover pages from one printer to another. The rollover pages are specific to the printer that is enrolled in the HP Instant Ink program. Each printer has its own Instant Ink account, and the rollover pages are associated with that particular printer's account.
If you replace your HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer with a different printer, you will need to set up a new Instant Ink account for that printer and enroll it separately in the program. The rollover pages from your previous printer will not be available for use on the new printer.
It's important to note that Instant Ink is tied to the specific printer's serial number and not transferable between devices.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
