Can I use my printer without paying for a plan? What’s the point of a plan?

I’ve been paying $1 a month for some kind of plan. I don’t understand what is the point of it? I’ve only gotten one ink cartridge about a year ago probably. Do I even need this plan? I print maybe 20 pages a month.

The "some kind of plan" is an Instant Ink Print by Page subscription.

The only time you will receive cartridges is when the printer notifies the service that ink is needed.

What?

Ink is not just sent out on schedule.

Do you need the plan?

Maybe - maybe not.

Consider the price of a full set of cartridges and decide whether the monthly fee is worth the cost.
