Ink is not empty, but quality is poor.  Even teh replacement I have form HP is over a year old....meaning ink in printer is even older.  Can the age of the ink cause issues?  I will assume HP monitorng is only tracking QUANTITY of ink in printer, and if not empty, not sending new....ignoring the AGE of the ink.
