Hi @Jbsacm83,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

For your HP Envy 6120e, the message about a “cartridge or account issue” usually points to Instant Ink or HP+ enrollment status rather than the printer hardware itself.

Let's try a few steps

Log in to your HP Instant Ink account and verify that your subscription status reads "Ready to Print." If it does not, your service may be suspended, preventing printing, even if payment was made.

Perform a Hard Reset: While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the back, wait at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in.

Reseat Cartridges: Open the door, wait for the carriage to stop, remove both cartridges, and firmly reinsert them to ensure they snap into place.

I would need to know a few details regarding your Instant ink account to help you get the ink cartridges sorted. Since the instant ink account details are confidential, please send me the required information via private message.
