I cannot remove a printer from my HP account. I followed the instructions from HP and the message appears to inform me that this printer is enrolled in Instant ink and cannot be removed.  I follow the link to Manage Subscription and I am informed that my Instant Ink account was cancelled over a month ago.  

why are HP still monitoring my

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand how confusing and frustrating it must be to see your printer still linked to Instant Ink even though the subscription was cancelled over a month ago. This can sometimes happen due to a sync delay between the Instant Ink system and your HP account.

Please try the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your HP account at HP account
  2. Go to My Printers
  3. Try removing the printer again by selecting "Remove Printer"
  4. If the same error appears:
