So, I wasn't receiving any ink cartridges when I had an Instant Ink account, and I ended up having to buy an HP cartridge (same part number as the original, not a generic version) at Walmart. I decided that, since I wasn't actually getting any instant ink from my Instant Ink account I should just cancel.
All of a sudden, once the cancellation went through, my printer is telling me that it only accepts ink from Instant Ink, not store-bought.
Now I can't print.
How do I fix this? Or do I just go throw my printer in the river and start telling everyone I know never to buy HP products?

@cchernov, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you have canceled the Instant Ink service and now you are not able to use store-bought HP inks.
Ideally, you will be able to use the regular trade ink cartridges even if the printer is enrolled in Instant Ink.
Remove the ink cartridges, restart the printer and reinsert them. Check if it helps.
Make sure the Instant Ink service is canceled. Login to your account to check the same.
