Hi @Lashenvy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I understand your Instant Ink subscription continued billing after cancellation and you’re seeking a refund. Let’s go through a few checks.

Verify Cancellation Status

  1. Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account.
  2. Go to “My Plan” or “Status.”
  3. Check if the printer shows “Canceled” or still “Active.”
  4. Review the cancellation date listed.
  5. Take a screenshot for reference.

Review Billing History

  1. In your account, go to “Billing” or “Payment History.”
  2. Check charges from March 2025 onward.
  3. Note the number of months billed.
  4. Download or screenshot the billing records.
  5. Confirm no printing activity during this period.

Check Printer Enrollment Status

  1. Go to “My Printers” in your Instant Ink account.
  2. See if the printer is still enrolled.
  3. If still listed, remove or unenroll it.
  4. Ensure no active plan remains.
  5. Confirm status updates to inactive.

Check Email Confirmations

  1. Search your email for cancellation confirmation from March 2025.
  2. Verify if a confirmation email was received.
  3. Keep this as proof if available.
  4. Also check spam/junk folders.

Important Information

  • Instant Ink is a subscription service, not usage-based, billing continues until cancellation is fully completed in the account.
  • If cancellation did not fully process or the printer remained enrolled, billing can continue even without printing or internet use.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day ahead! 🚀
