I am unable to download my instant ink invoice.  Error message generated is HTTP error 429. I have cleared browser cache but this has made no difference.

Hi @pej75,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Error code 429 indicates that you have exceeded the rate limit for accessing the requested resource. This error typically occurs when you make too many requests to a server within a given time frame. It's possible that the server is receiving a high volume of requests, causing it to restrict access temporarily.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

  • Wait and try again later: The rate limit is usually temporary, so waiting for some time and attempting to download the invoice again might resolve the issue.
  • Try a different browser or device: Sometimes, issues like this can be browser-specific. Try accessing the Instant Ink website and downloading the invoice using a different web browser or device to see if the problem persists.
  • Check your internet connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and working properly. A weak or intermittent connection can cause issues when downloading files.
  • Clear cookies and temporary files: In addition to clearing your browser cache, try clearing cookies and temporary files as well. This action can help eliminate any potential conflicts or corrupted data that may be causing the problem.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
