Hi @Massillon,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.

May I have the exact product name and number? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.

Meanwhile, follow the steps below

Check Cartridge Installation: Ensure that the new Instant Ink cartridges are properly installed. Make sure they are securely snapped into place.

Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for a few seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity or initialization issues.

Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the internet. Instant Ink requires an active internet connection for communication with the HP servers.

Update Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model on the HP website. Updating the firmware can sometimes address compatibility issues.

Verify Instant Ink Account: Log in to your HP Instant Ink account on hpinstantink.com. Make sure your account information is correct and that the printer is listed in your account.

If the issue persists, it's advisable to contact HP phone support.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
