I have constantly been having a problem with my printer for the last 6 months, unable to print anything in colour with my HP ENVY 5000 printer. I am getting an error message: "Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed."
I have followed the Virtual Assistant instructions, tried everything it said - updating firmware, cleaning the cartridge, and resetting the printer - but still an error message received.
I have also been able to contact someone at HP Support, and followed their advice. It worked perfectly fine for a week or 2 then back to the beginning: "Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed."
I am subscribed to HP Instant Ink.
Thank you

Error message: "Remove and reinstall the indicated ink cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed."
I have followed the Virtual Assistant instructions, tried everything it said - updating firmware (printer was already updated), cleaning the cartridge, and resetting the printer - but still an error message received. I have also left it to rest.
I am subscribed to HP Instant Ink and received a colour cartridge a couple of weeks ago which was working fine until the other day when the above message appeared. I can print in black if I take out the colour cartridge.
Thanks
