why I can use a cartridge 65/304 instant ink normally in my printer envy 5055? why I need to enroll to the instant ink ?

Instant Ink cartridges will not work without an active Instant Ink subscription. See the document here, which says:
- HP Instant Ink cartridges do not work after the end of your current billing period, and you are required to return them to HP. To continue printing after your billing cycle ends, make sure you have standard replacement ink cartridges ready to use in your printer.If you do not have the postage-paid envelope provided by HP, go to Recycle HP Instant Ink Cartridges to order an envelope.*
When you sign up for the Instant Ink program you are NOT purchasing ink, you are purchasing a subscription to a set number of pages per month. The ink is supplied, but remains the property of HP and must be returned if you cancel the program in accordance with the terms of service. See sections 5.d and 9.c of the terms of service here.
