My HP Support Assistant notified me that my software should be upgraded.  I followed directions and after 1 hr. it would not install.  I tried 3 times with same result.  My printer is working fine.  Since my last upgrade my  computer was upgraded to Win10Pro and additional memory was added and at the same time a new hard drive of 500G (Samsung) SSDS.  Should I just ignore it?  Clarence

If you are getting the error message "“Cartridge cannot be used until printer is enrolled in HP Instant Ink” and you followed instructions and they didn't work then you will need to contact HP Support for help.

However, if you tried to update SW and it's not updating then I wouldn't worry too much about that.  Maybe try it again in a month or so as long as you are not having printing issues.

If you do need to contact HP support here is the information.
