Hello oh Awesome HP Instant Ink service,

I have an HP Instant Ink account in France (FR) (registered with french postal address), recently I moved to The Netherlands (NL) and thought to change the address so I get the Ink cartridges delivered in NL instead of in FR.

I contacted the service desk and they told me to delete my FR account and create a new NL account (something to do with country specific policy, so can't simple change contry of residence and country account 🙉). So I thoght ok, lets do that 🙄.

I started tolook for option to delete my FR account on my account page, which I couldn't find except option to cancel subscription which I assume is not same as deleting account.

When I tried to open a new NL account, that also doesn't work as on registration page it tells me that "an account already exist"(no kidding 🤔!).

Can you please help me out with this 🙏? and please don't come back and tell me to create a NL acount with anther email 😤, as I only ave one personal email and would like to keep it that way.

Regards.

Hi @pranav8494,

I'd like to help!

You would have to cancel your instant ink France account and then re-enroll the printer with the Netherlands address.

You may refer to - Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Service

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hi @Jay_G24,

thanks for the response. before cancelling my FR subscrption, I tried to create a NL account with HP instant ink on NL site. I am not able to do so with my email  as it is the same email with which FR account is registered and I don't want to use a different email. Is there a way around it ,e.g. delete my FR account and then create my NL account. Cancelling the FR subscription doesn't delete the account.

Regards,

Pranav.

The issue is,

* I cancelled my FR subscription from my account.

* I can not change the country in my address on the account login page.

* I can not delete my FR hp instant account.

* I can not creae a new NL hp instant account with same email id (the one used for FR account).

The only option it seems is to register a new NL hp instant ink account with a new email address which I don't want to do as:

* I will be stuck with same issue in future if I change country again

* I prefer to use same email ID as that is where I track all my subscriptions.

Why isn't there an option to change country on the account page?

I think this issue needs some additional technical assistance that can be better provided through one-on-one interaction or a remote session with our HP Support team.

Please reach out to the HP Instant Ink team(contact info can be found on the home page) in your region for further assistance.

Hope this helps!
