I am the recipient of a used and fully functional HP Officejet Pro 8600. I want to enroll in the printer in the Instant Ink program. Because this printer had a previous owner I am blocked from enrolling and blocked from access to advanced settings. I was told this printer needs to be removed from the previous owners account before I can "claim" it. We have tried to find out where to remove the printer but cannot. Does anyone know the correct procedure to remove a printer from a previous owners account?

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.

For Instant Ink, you'll have to cancel the subscription and then re-enroll the Printer: https://www.support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-latex-360-printers/6838371/document/c03767639
