My ex husband left the printer, but it is still connected to his account. How do I change the account so that it is in my name with my email address so that I can set up instant ink?

If your ex-husband is unable to disassociate the printer from his account or if the printer still seems connected to his account after disassociation, you can perform a factory reset on the printer. This will remove all previous settings, including the account association. The process for factory resetting the printer can vary depending on the make and model, so consult the printer's user manual or the manufacturer's website for specific instructions. To manage your printer and HP Instant Ink account more easily, you can download and install the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer. This app allows you to monitor ink levels, order new ink cartridges, and access various printer features.

Remember to keep track of your printer's serial number or other identifying information, as you may need it when setting up or contacting HP support for any account-related issues. If you encounter any difficulties during the setup process, you can also reach out to HP customer support for assistance.
