I am getting an error message for "Check your Account" A problem has occured with your HP account and you will be unable to print soon unless the issue is resolved. I have followed all the previous discussion answers on what to do and none of it has worked. I would rather speak to someone at HP but that is next to impossible. I have removed the printer from my account and reinstalled it, I have turned off the wifi, turned on the wifi, forget the network and re-install that, everything. Printer has been working just fine for months and now this. At some point I am sure we won't be able to print and that will be just stupid. I am enrolled in HP Ink. All cartridges have been changed to new ones provided by HP, ink levels fine, CC fine on account. Wifi is the same on computer as it is on the printer. HELP - this is such a dumb error.

Hi @OMCalm,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
We understand that the printer has been working normally and that you have already reconnected to the network, removed and re-added the printer, confirmed the payment method, and installed the replacement HP Instant Ink cartridges. This message generally appears when the printer cannot validate its connection with the HP account or HP Instant Ink service.
Check the HP Instant Ink account
Sign in to your HP Instant Ink account and check whether the printer or plan shows as:
- Active
- Suspended
- Inactive
- Offline
- Requiring a billing or account update
Please also let us know the exact message displayed on the account dashboard.
Check HP Web Services
On the printer control panel, open the network or Web Services settings and check whether HP Web Services is enabled.
- If Web Services is disabled, enable it and allow the printer to reconnect.
- If Web Services is already enabled and the Instant Ink account shows as active, disable Web Services, restart the printer, and then enable Web Services again.
After completing this, sign in to your HP account again and check whether the “Check Your Account” message clears. Keep the printer connected to Wi-Fi and powered on during the process.
If the message remains, please send the email address registered to HP Instant Ink or the printer serial number through a private message only. Do not post this information publicly. We can then review the account and printer details to determine the appropriate next step.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
I'm an HP Employee.
