Hi @chappers36,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
In most HP printers, the page count typically includes all pages printed, regardless of content. However, there are some types of prints that generally do not count toward your monthly page limit or are considered differently.
- Printer Reports: Pages like test pages, alignment pages, or internal reports (such as printer status or configuration pages) usually do not count toward your monthly page limit. These are diagnostic or configuration prints and are often excluded from the count.
- Maintenance Pages: Pages used for maintenance tasks (e.g., printhead alignment or cleaning) are generally not included in the page count.
- Setup Pages: Initial setup pages or those printed during setup and calibration processes are often not counted as part of your regular monthly page limit.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
