HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have multiple issues:

First Issue: is with having two HP.com userid's. I have an old ID that is neither a phone # or email address that I'd like to have deleted to avoid my continued confusion, when logging on.

Second Issue:  I purchased and installed a new printer on 3/22, however I can't add it to my primary HP.com account.  I have gone through the online process to find and add the new printer to my HP.com account, several times.  It finds the new printer and says it's added to my account however it never is.  If I try to add it via the s/n method, I get a message that states that S/N must be associated with an HP All-In-One account before it can be added to my profile.

Third Issue:  I was able to unbox, set up, connect to my network and print to the new printer in about 30 minutes.  However it then took over 4 hours of effort, over two days, to connect it to the HP Smart app and HP Ink.  At one point I spent nearly an hour on the telephone with HP Ink support, I was finally able to see the new printer listed.  Following supports instructions, I tried to replace & delete the old printer and with the new one on Instant Ink but I kept failing due to account issues (see First issue).  Ultimately I gave up and just added the new printer as a second printer and that worked .  I can easily cancel Instant Ink on the old printer, however I would lose the unused pages from that printer.

So I need help

Hi @Wonka13,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you!

If you have already added your new printer as a second printer, and are afraid of losing rollover pages, I recommend you contact phone support. They should be able to help you with alternatives.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

First Issue: I followed the instructions to submit a form to HP Privacy, to have one of my two HP accounts deleted.   I'm holding out hope that that will happen.

Third Issue:  Resolved by HP Instant Ink Support.

Second Issue:  I can't add my new printer to my HP Support Account/Dashboard.  I enter the Serial Number shown in the first image, press Submit  and get the message displayed in the second image.
