this issue has been unresolved since sept14th,2023 and hp has kept making me repeat myself multiple times in the chat. They were dishonest by saying "Hello again,
You are speaking with the escalations team. You mentioned you want to cancel the paper part of your Instant Ink subscription. That will have to be done through the Instant Ink team, only they can make modifications to any account.
I hope this clarifies the matter for you.
Regards,
HP Support" and I replied with "This is incorrect, I was able to cancel the paper part of the plan. This is has been going on since sept14th and still no solution"
And I have provided them a screenshot of the paper part of the plan being canceled as well.
They also replied with "We would like to inform that when you unsubscribe from Instant Ink you would also not be able to use the Instant Ink cartridge. Please confirm if you are using normal cartridges.
Regards,
HP Support"
I replied to them
" i never stated I wanted to cancel the Instant Ink I only wanted to cancel the paper add on part. This has been stated multiple times"
And now just today oct26,2023 my printer has new set of ink cartridges in and it isn't printing blue, orange, and green properly. It is faded and you can see lines.
I only have 6 days left for the warranty with hp.
they have been wasting time and being dishonest since sept14th to me. All this time could have been put into fixing these issues with deliveries of the ink and cancelation of the paper add on. And a working replacement printer.
Please see attached screenshots of all the communication showing the dishonesty and time wasting with HP. Or try these image links :
