I've been using Instant Ink for a number of years but my current printer now needs replacing.  The printer I'm looking at has 6 months free Instant Ink, do I still get this offer if I replace the printer or do I need to set it up as a new printer?

Hi @KatThom,
Welcome to HP Support Community. This is a great place to post questions and find answers.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I see that you wanted to know if the free months can be carried over to the replaced unit.

Printer replacement allows you to keep rollover pages, free months, prepaid amounts, account history, and other account information for the previous printer. Just make sure you set up the new printer using the HP Smart app.

If HP sends a replacement printer under warranty, the HP Smart app automatically replaces the printer during printer setup.

If you purchased a replacement printer, look for the printer replacement option during setup with the HP Smart app.
