I signed up for instant ink while in nursing school due to the excessive printing and the cost of ink/paper. I have graduated nursing school now and barely print therefore no longer have a use for the program. I currently have a set of cartridges in my printer that don’t need replaced yet as well as a box of cartridges that haven’t been opened. I just canceled my subscription and from what i gather these cartridges will no longer work at the end of the billing cycle (August 30th). So my question is, do i return the unopened box of cartridges to HP? I attempted to ask the virtual assistant and that was no help. Apparently there isn’t a live person to talk to on the weekends so i figured i would attempt this. Thank you for your time!

I understand you are facing an issue with your Instant Ink Subscription. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To answer your question: Yes! you have to ship the ink back to the Instant Ink team once you cancel the subscription.

I have strong feelings about reusing, repurposing and recycling so when I cancelled my Instant Ink since their algorithm for sending ink left me with 1 double black and 6 color unused cartridges, I simply returned my unused cartridges to the return address on the original mailing package since I could not find an address on the site and the the recycling envelope made it clear that it was for used and empty cartridges.
