Does anyone know if I am charged for scanning documents while on the Instant Ink Program?

Does anyone know if I am charged for scanning documents while on the Instant Ink Program? I have lots of scanning to do but don't want to pay extra for scanning, I can not find any documentation of this in the Instant Ink websites. Personally, I do not think we should because it not actually printing a hard copy. Any ideas?

The Print-by-Page Instant Ink subscription charges for ink on paper.

Scanning - unless you then print the output is not ink on paper.

Scan and save is OK - no charge for scanning.
