I've been in contact with support ([Personal Information Removed]) re: a very strange issue with page counts in Instant Ink. I printed 10 copies one day, and the 5 the next morning of a Microsoft Publisher file. The file is a single A5 page and I printed it via Publisher onto A4 paper, 2 copies per page.
My Instant Ink account shows that I printed 18 and 9 pages on those days.
The support technician suggested that this was due to printing double sided, but this does not appear to be the case. Also, if I was printing double-sided surely the page counts would be 20 & 10?
Can anyone confirm that printing a single page document double-sided will count as 2 pages in Instant Ink? I don't mean a document where there is a blank 'run on' page at the end, but a single page.
Additionally, is it possible that printing 2 A5 pages to a single sheet of A4 could somehow register as more pages than were actually used?
2 A5 pages printed to a single A4 sheet
