HP ENVY Inspire 7255e All-in-One Printer

I have the Instant Ink + paper plan, and I've been printing double sided and understand for Ink, it's counted as 2 pages, but on the paper side, it should only be registering as 1. I've been printing in 15 page increments, so technically on Ink, my count should be going up by 30 and paper going up by 15, but they are equally increasing by 30 and my total paper pull for the month is equal to ink instead of it being half.

I am not manually double sided printing (printing on 1 side first and then feeding the pages in again), but two-sided printing from the get-go using the settings.

Please advise!

Welcome to the HP Community --

Disclaimer:

I don't have -- never have had -- never will have an Instant Ink subscription.

I suspect there is either a flaw in the logic, there is no flaw and you are right, or something odd is going on.

If paper is counted by side, then 2 sided paper is 2 sheets.

Odd logic.

Importantly, what I think is does not matter.

Thanks, will reach out to Instant Ink Support Team.

Do you have a post somewhere on why you would never have the Instant Ink subscription? Curious of your POV.

You are welcome.

Honestly, I don't need a contract for ink service.

Most of my printing is the occasional document , a few photos, and testing (to support / try settings) for the Community.

I don't have contracts for any service I don't actually need.

Old habits.

I do always purchase  and use genuine HP ink .
