My HP Emvy 6075 all in one printer was subscribed to an instant ink account. We unsubscribed to save money and bought non instant ink cartridges going forward. Since the subscription has completed cancelation, we now get a E0 error code saying we have cartridges that aren't compatible when they are hp 67/305 tri color and black cartridges we bought from Wal Mart. How do I get this by passed so we can use our printer at home again?

Hi @Jeri1994
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
When you unsubscribe from the HP Instant Ink service and switch to non-Instant Ink cartridges, there might be instances where the printer still recognizes Instant Ink cartridges, leading to error codes like E0.
To resolve the error and ensure your HP ENVY 6075 printer works correctly with your new cartridges, follow these steps:
Steps to Resolve E0 Error:
Check Cartridge Compatibility:
- Ensure the non-Instant Ink cartridges you purchased are the correct ones for your printer model. For the HP ENVY 6075, the compatible cartridges are HP 67 or HP 305 (depending on your region).
Remove and Reinstall Cartridges:
- Open the ink cartridge access door and remove the non-Instant Ink cartridges.
- Wait for a few moments and then reinsert the cartridges, making sure they are securely installed.
Restart Your Printer:
- Turn off your printer by pressing the power button.
- Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
Firmware Update:
- Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. Sometimes, errors are resolved with a firmware update.
- Download and install the latest firmware from the HP Support website.
Check for Residual Ink Metadata:
- If your printer still recognizes old Instant Ink cartridges, you may need to clear the printer’s memory.
- Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn the printer on and disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer while it is still on.
- Unplug the power cord from the power source.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the power source and the printer.
- Turn on the printer.
- Perform a Hard Reset:
