I haven't received a shipment of ink from hp since 2023 and I have been trying to get them to send some. I'm enrolled in the all in one plan and the instant ink plan. Every time I try to order ink it keeps telling me it's to soon to order. Funny thing is they sure keep taking my money every month for the yearly printing and the ink they haven't sent in 3 years. I've had to buy my own ink. It keeps say ink not compatible. Really? Well no kidding maybe because y'all won't send me my ink I've well over paid for. Frustrating.

Not sure what is going on -- it can be fixed.

You might be best served by contacting support directly.

Support can access your private information.

The HP All-In Plan includes a printer, ink, and support.  Plan services might be charged each month -- details are available at the website or by contacting the support staff at HP All-In.

Instant Ink is a separate Print-by-Page subscription plan.

AND

Instant Ink Plan services are typically charged each month.

The HP All-In Plan might include a "yearly" page allowance.

Instant Ink plans vary and might include anywhere from 10 to 700 (or more) pages per month.

Ink is included regardless the plan and how much ink is used in service of that plan.

AND

Either of these services should send ink when the printer notifies the service that supplies are depleted and a shipment is needed.

Sure, if you some how ended up with Both an HP All-In lease plan and a an Instant Ink plan as a separate service contract, I can guess that might confuse things.  ??

The issue, if there is one, is whom you should call.

Either one, I think, though the decision might be as simple as who you can contact first.

I've included the information, including how to contact support, for both HP All-In and Instant Ink below.

If not today, the support offices should be open tomorrow (Monday).

Instant Ink Support, in particular, is frequently busy -- If you have a choice, calling early might be better than calling later.

======================

What is Instant Ink?

HP Instant Ink is a Print-by-Page subscription service for which you are charged a monthly fee for a set number of printed pages.  (Each side of the paper is counted as a separate Page.)

While there is no additional charge for the ink, the subscription is not free and does charge each month.

IMPORTANT -- Ink is supplied only with an active subscription -

After the service is terminated by you or HP, all subscription ink cartridges stop working and must (should) be returned to HP.

Selecting the right number of pages for your plan is important.

======================

What is "Free Ink"?

There is no extra cost for ink.

Ink is provided as part of your subscription - use a drop or use a cup full, ink is included at no extra cost.

Important

  • All ink activated by the plan and all ink sent to you works as along as the trail / subscription service is active.

and

  • After the initial Ink Kit is mailed out, ink is sent (only) when the printer notifies the service that ink is depleted and a shipment is needed.

and

  • Subscription / Instant Ink cartridges remain the property of HP and should be returned to HP at close (termination) of the service contract.
