HP 3830 “indicated cartridges are not supported...”

I am unable to print anything in color with my HP OfficeJet  3830  When I installedthe new cartridge,  I get the error: "The indicated cartridges are not intended for or used in this printer.”

 

I've used the virtual assistant on the HP Instant Ink site and tried everything it said including updating firmware, cleaning the cartridge, and resetting the printer, but I am still getting the error.

 

I only ever use genuine HP ink cartridges in the printer.

 

I cannot find a way of directly contacting someone at HP, so I would be very grateful if an HP representative could reply to this thread so that I can get a replacement cartridge for the printer or help me figure out the problem.

The cartridge you're using is regular ink cartridge, Is your printer enrolled in instant ink service ?

 

Have you received cartridges from HP?
