@Madonna88, Welcome to HP Support Community,

 

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

 

Sign Out of HP Smart:

Open the HP Smart app.

Click your account name or icon in the top-right corner.

Choose Sign Out.

 

Reset HP Smart Credentials:

Quit the HP Smart app completely.

Go to System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Items and remove HP Smart if it auto-launches.

 

Sign Back In to HP Smart:

Reopen HP Smart.

Sign in with your HP account credentials.

 

Check HP Account Status:

Go to the HP Smart website.

Sign in and verify:

Your printer is listed under "My Printers".

No billing issues, especially if you're using HP Instant Ink.

 

Update HP Smart:

Go to the Mac App Store and check for updates to HP Smart.

Install any available updates.

 

Re-add Your Printer (if needed):

In HP Smart, remove the printer and re-add it by clicking the plus (+) button.

If the issue persists after all of the above:
