The yellow cartridge in my printer somehow leaked all over the printhead without any warning and made a mess on the inside of the printer. I only found out today when I tried running a simple print job that refused to work due to a "problem with the printer or ink system." This is a genuine HP cartridge that was installed correctly and was hardly used. I was very disappointed to find that an official product could fail so spectacularly.
While I was able to get the printer working again after a thorough cleaning, I no longer feel comfortable using this particular yellow cartridge as the last thing I'd like to deal with is to have to clean up another leak. I would like to request a replacement early rather than wait for an eventual refill, but I can't seem to find any way to send in a request through the HP Instant Ink website. Any help with this would be appreciated, thank you.

I understand that my printer is out of warranty, but I’m still a paying customer of HP Instant Ink and I should be eligible to request a replacement cartridge for one that was defective and leaking. Could I please get some assistance with my issue? If the Instant Ink website let me send in a request there I wouldn’t need to post here. It’s been well over 24 hours since my original post. How long does it take to get a response? This is honestly ridiculous. My printer was nearly ruined from this leak and I’m even less inclined to consider continuing my subscription or buying another HP printer in the future with this kind of lackluster support.
