Yes, that’s right. This company are a bunch of crooks! They constantly charge me for ink which they don’t ship.

so to be clear, if you’re a disabled, religious minority and a mom in a family of color, this is how a giant multinational (HP) is going to treat you: steal from you and make it more difficult for you to do your job.

Thank you, Dragon-Fur.... but I am enrolled in Instant Ink.

As I stated,  HP constantly charges my card but never ships me the ink. So the company is taking my money with the promise of sending me a good that they never ship.

That's unethical.

You say HP has nothing against me? Great! Then they can ship me the goods I paid for. Easy-peasy.

So perhaps instead of dissing me (I saw the comments that were deleted, boo!) perhaps we lead with WHY  is the company deducting money from my bank account, for goods that they never ship, that I badly need?

In a company of HP's size and reputation, there is no way their logistics department is that incompetent. It's been a pattern and I'm tired of being stolen from and disrespected.

HP needs to send me the ink that I've been paying for.  Not send some rando online to white knight for them and insult me personally. End of story.

Thank you - there was absolutely no reason for you to make it personal (I appreciate your deleting those comments, but they never should have been said in the first place).

Support has been impossible to contact. HP needs to ship me the items they charged me for.

It's commendable that you have such passion for this brand, but that doesn't give them a right to steal from me.

HP - SEND ME THE INK I HAVE BEEN PAYING FOR!!!

The document here has information on contacting HP to get replacement Instant Ink cartridges.  Go to the HP Instant Ink site, the phone number (or chat option for some countries) will be listed in the lower center of the opening screen.

I would suggest you also log into your Instant Ink account and make sure:

  • Your printer is connected to the internet and visible to the Instant Ink servers.
  • Your address is correct
  • Your billing information is current

The Instant Ink cartridges are shipped as the ink runs low.  Assuming your printer is connected to the internet and visible to the Instant Ink servers, and your account is current and the shipping address is correct HP would ship cartridges when your ink levels are below that required for two months of printing with your current plan.  For example, if you have the 100 page per month plan cartridges should be shipped when you have 200 pages of ink remaining.

By the way, when you sign up for the Instant Ink program you are NOT purchasing ink, you are purchasing a subscription to a set number of pages per month.  The ink is supplied, but remains the property of HP and must be returned if you cancel the program in accordance with the terms of service.  See sections 5.d and 9.c of the terms of service here.

Thank you - I've done all those things, just HP never sent me my ink! My printer has been empty for quite some time. So frustrating! And then another user had to come on here and start insulting me personally (comments were deleted - UGH)

You say you have done "all those things".  Have you talked to an HP Instant Ink Support agent?  Were they able to access your account and verify your address is OK and your account does not have any issues? Did they say they would send ink?   Is your printer showing up as online in your Instant Ink account?

If you have never gotten ink (including starting with the starter kit) I would suggest asking the HP Instant Ink Support folks to resend the package (after verifying the shipping information).  If you do not have Instant Ink cartridges in your printer then the system will not be flagged to send replacement cartridge.
