HP ENVY Photo 6230 - Black Cartridge Problem

Hello, 

*My support ticket Number: [Personal Information Removed]*

 

I got Black "Cartridge Problem" came up on the printer's screen.

It is the black cartridge which is coming up as having a problem. A window comes up on the computer screen saying:

"Cartridge Problem - Remove and reinstall the indicated cartridge, making sure it is correctly installed.  If this message continues to appear, replace the indicated cartridge" I have followed below instructions given by HP agent on two sets of color and black cartridge which I have already received from them untill now but same error message. 

1. I followed the instructions on how to remove and clean the cartridge(both gold contact and ink supply contact) but this has

     made no change.

2. Cleaned the electrical contacts on the Printer. 

3.  Tried printing using color cartridge. 

4. The cartridge is an official Instant Ink Cartridge and HP has already supplied two sets already. 

 

***If any customer having HP Envy 6230 in York, I want to try the  received cartridges to rule out the issue with Printer or Cartridge****

 

Appreciate if HP can take the lead and resolve it.  

Please would you be able to help to resolve this problem.

I understand you are not able to print due to this error.

 

Make sure the ink cartridges are properly inserted in the printer, you may refer to - Replace HP inkjet printer cartridges

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - Ink cartridge error
