My printer keeps reverting back to only printing in black and white despite all settings suggesting it will print in colour. I have tried deleting all printer settings and reinstalling but it just keeps reverting back.  I have wasted so many ink credits and paper on this that it is getting really annoying. The only solution I can find is to uninstall everything and then set up again, but this only lasts a short amount of time. I can't do this every time I need to print something in colour.  I think the problem lies in the 'port'.  When the printer is set up it is linked to a WSD port rather than a TCP / ICP port (which works fine) but the only way to get it to print in colour is to manually change the port every time I want to print.  Although the option to delete the WSD port is there, when deleting the WSD port, it just won't disappear.  My printer worked fine with Windows 10.

Thanks

Hi, apologies for the delay in responding to you but with one thing or another, today is the 1st opportunity I have had to follow your instructions and hopefully, rectify my problem.  That being said, I've now printed 2 documents and so far, both have printed in colour without my having to go into the printer properties and change the port manually.  Fingers crossed and thank you for your help.
