HP Envy 6230
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear sir / madam,

My printer (Envy 6230) came with a 4 Month Free Trial of Instant Ink, however upon enrolling in the programm succesfully (in my case the free 15 pages per month plan) I am not able to find anywhere that this trial has been applied, nor was I able to find any promo codes in any of the vouchers/booklets that came with the printer.

Please guide me which information you may need to resolve this issue.

Best,

Robin

Hi @KcRobin9

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

If you chose, the 15-page plan, you'll not see the 4-months free on your account page. When enrolled in the 15-page plan, you will not be charged anything unless you print more than 15-pages and ink will be shipped to you when low ink level is detected.

To claim, the 4-months free, you need to upgrade the plan to 50 or 100 or 300 page-plan. As the 15-page plan is free by default but for the other page plan, there'll be a charge once you have exhausted your 4-months trial.

Please send us a private message with your Instant Ink account details or you may also respond to the private message I've sent out and I'll help you out, accordingly. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Thanks for the quick reply,

I assumed that even with the Free Plan, you would be allowed to print up to 300 pages per month during the trial period, but apparently that is not the case. It would be better though if this was clearly stated somewhere. Nevertheless, my question is answered so thank you.
