Printing has recently start printing blank pages. I have replaced the ink cartridges with new instant Ink ones, and the prints blank pages. I have even geniuine HP shop bought ink cartridges but still the same issue. My instant ink account is up to date and payment method current. What could be the problem?

1. Check Printer Status and Connectivity

Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the network and has internet access. This can be verified within the HP Smart app or directly on the printer's display.

 

2. Reinstall Ink Cartridges

Follow these steps to reinstall the cartridges:

  • Open the printer cover and remove the existing cartridges.
  • Reinstall the cartridges securely.
  • Close the cover and ensure the cartridges are properly seated.

3. Perform Printhead Cleaning

Printhead issues are a common cause of blank pages. Use the instructions below to clean the printhead:

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Select your printer from the list.
  • Go to Settings or Maintain Your Printer.
  • Select the option to clean the printhead.

4. Check for Printer Firmware Updates

Firmware updates can sometimes resolve such issues:

  • Open the HP Smart app.
  • Select your printer from the list.
  • Go to Settings or Printer Update.
  • Check for and install any available firmware updates.

5. Review Instant Ink Account

Make sure your Instant Ink account is active and that your payment information is up-to-date.
