I purchased the HP Envy 7855 printer on the HP website because it was advertised to come with 4 months of free Instant Ink. However, when I set everything up and took a look at a card that come in the box, the card only advertises two months to me. I purchased this product because I thought the 4 months was a good deal for the price of the printer. I purchase products as they are advertised. I do not expect anything more or less I want exactly what I was promised before I even purchased the product. If I purchase a refrigerator online I would not be expecting a vacuum cleaner to come in the box. I want my 4 months of Instant Ink AS advertised on the website. 4 months

Hey everyone Matt here. I wanted to let everyone know that it turns out that HP just slapped the wrong sticker onto the printer and put the wrong "Life is easier with Instant Ink" card in the box. They should have put a sticker that said "4 months" onto the printer and should have put a card that says "4 months" into the box. It's misleading. Nonetheless, when I set my printer up with the HP Smart desktop app, the app recognized that my printer was eligible for the 4 months free trial of Instant Ink. I set everything up and redeemed my free 4 months trial of HP Instant Ink. Now my HP instant Ink account is showing a 4 months free trial. So to ANYONE having the same problem, try setting the printer up first in the HP Smart desktop app. It may turn out that the information in the box is misleading you to believe that the product does not come with what it was advertised. The app should recognize the promotion attached to your printer. Problem solved.
